Having worked at the Icon Hotel since its opening day in 2009, Michael has an all-encompassing understanding of the hotel’s many functions.

Michael has at some stage worked in every department from Night Portering, Head Housekeeping, Kitchen, Reception, Accounts, Marketing and the Restaurant before being appointed Operations Manager in May 2014. Michael has overseen many accolades such as high kitchen ratings from Food Standards Agency, Certificate of Excellence Awards and the upgrade of the Icon Hotel from three to four star accreditation by the AA Hotel Services.
